Dark Matter & Dark Energy:The Greatest Mystery in the Universe
Matter as we know it Atoms, Stars and Galaxies, Planets, Rocks and Dust. This matter account less than 5% of the known universe, about 25% is Dark Matter and 70% is Dark Energy both of which are invisible. The gravity of the visible matter is not enough to form Galaxies and complex structures. Stars would more lightly be scattered all over the place and not form galaxies. So there is something else inside and around them. Something doesn't emit or reflect light. Places with the high concentration dark matter bend light passing nearby so there is something interacts with gravity. Dark matter is not Antimatter because Antimatter produces unique Gamma rays. Dark matter is also not made up a black holes, very compact objects that violent the effect their surroundings while Dark matter seems to be scattered all over the place. Dark matter is probably made up with complicated exotic particles that doesn't interact with light and matter.

Dark Energy is even more strange and mysterious we can't detect it we can't measure it. In 1929 Edwin Hubble examined how the wave length of the light emitted by distant galaxies shifts towards the red end of the electromagnetic spectrum as it travel through space. He determined that this was because the Universe itself is expanding. The red shifted because the wave length of the light stressed as the Universe expanse. The expansion of the Universe is accelerating. Space doesn't change its properties as it expanse. Galaxies are tied bound together by gravity so we don't experience the expansion in our daily life. Empty space of the Universe is forming more in every second. So dark energy seems some kind of energy intrinsic to empty space. Energy that stronger than anything else we know and keeps getting stronger time passes by.
